User Experience

UX is the process of enhancing user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product.

Stakeholder Interviews

Making interactions engaging and purposeful is essential to a great user experience. Interviewing key stakeholders in a project, both internal and external, to gather insights about their goals. It helps prioritize features and define key performance indicators (KPIs).

Prototyping

I create interactive draft version of a product that allows “us” to explore “our” ideas and show the intention behind a feature or the overall design concept to users before investing time and money into development.

User Personas

A user persona is a fictional representation of “our ideal customer.” A persona is generally based on user research and incorporates the needs, goals, and observed behavior patterns of your target audience. It’s a piece of the UX design puzzle I have years of experience in.

Journey Mapping

I develop detailed diagrams that explore the multiple (sometimes invisible) steps taken by consumers as they engage with a service. The process enables myself or other design team members to frame the consumer’s motivations and needs in each step of the journey, creating design solutions that are appropriate for each.

Interaction design

Interaction design, often abbreviated as IxD, is “the practice of designing interactive digital products, environments, systems, and services.” I approach design in a way in which UX/IxD complement and support each other, to achieve refined results.

Web Design

I’m a digital native and I’ve been designing for the web for two decades. I’ve worked on notable web properties, garnered awards and a true pioneer developing some of the very 1st online commerce systems.

Mobile Design

We live in a mobile world. Some would say a mobile first world. I’ve been developing native iOS and Android apps since the very 1st SDK releases and I am a responsive design expert.

Branding, Brand ID

Driving customer loyalty and engagement with the right brand strategy and design is common place. The consumer expects it and companies stay competitive with refined design that supports brand messages.
